British Airways is gearing up for summer 2026 by increasing flights to popular long-haul destinations from London Gatwick and Heathrow.

More Flights to Bangkok
Following the success of its Bangkok route launched last year, British Airways will now operate year-round flights from London Gatwick to the Thai capital.
Previously a winter-only service, the route will feature three weekly flights during the summer of 2026, increasing to six weekly flights in the winter season.
This expansion adds nearly 60,000 seats for travellers heading to Southeast Asia next year. The airline has also strengthened its codeshare agreement with Bangkok Airways, enabling seamless connections to destinations like Phuket and Phnom Penh.

Enhanced Caribbean Connections
British Airways is boosting its service to Kingston, Jamaica, from London Gatwick, adding one more weekly flight for a total of four per week in summer 2026.
This increase provides over 300 additional seats weekly, supporting Jamaica’s goal to welcome five million tourists by March 31, 2026, according to the Jamaican Tourist Board.

Expanded U.S. Routes
The airline is also enhancing its U.S. offerings. From London Heathrow, British Airways will reinstate double-daily flights to Miami International Airport and a daily service to Dallas-Fort Worth.
Travellers heading to Las Vegas will benefit from an increase from 10 to 13 weekly flights, providing greater flexibility from Heathrow’s Terminal 5.
Additionally, services to San Diego and Austin will expand to 14 weekly flights each, giving customers more options for summer trips to these vibrant American cities.
Meanwhile, New York’s JFK airport will now be served exclusively from Heathrow, with nine weekly flights.

For those traveling to the Middle East, British Airways is introducing a daily flight from Heathrow to Bahrain, significantly increasing weekly services.
