An American Airlines flight enroute to Miami from Cali, Colombia has declared an emergency in the last few moments.
American Airlines flight AA920, operated by a Boeing 737-800 declared the emergency with transponder code 7700 as it approached Cuban airspace enroute to Miami, Florida.
The aircraft now appears to be making good a diversion to the nearby Cayman Islands.
