Helldivers 2 is on the brink of finally joining Xbox consoles, and it is also seemingly on the cusp of a crossover with Halo basically confirmed through teasers as well as a telling response from Microsoft. While the upcoming Xbox release is exciting, we still have a few weeks left to wait. Arrowhead are aiming to fix as many bugs and optimization issues as possible before HD2 joins Xbox, but, before any new updates arrive, Helldivers 2 buffs “missing from patch notes” have been revealed for a powerful stratagem.
Helldivers 2 buffs “missing from patch notes” revealed
On the Helldivers Discord, Arrowhead community manager, Baskinator, has relayed some buffs that were “missing from patch notes” for a previous update. These patch notes relate to the Orbital EMS Strike stratagem, and the listed changes are below:
- We did sync so all “none explosive orbitals” have the same projectile damage and destruction strength as the orbital Gas.
- This effects the Orbital EMS and Orbital Smoke.
- The intent is that they are all a large projectile from orbit so should do similar damage.
- We also synced the stun explosions to have stun value applied.
- This effects the Orbital EMS and Mortar EMS.
In response to a user asking what all of this means, Baskinator replied, “Haha it’s good. Basically got some buffs”.
While the above is good to know, HD2 fans are eagerly anticipating the next update for HD2. Patches typically drop on Tuesday, so there’s a possibility the next patch could arrive in the morning of August 19th, but nothing is confirmed.
